“Piano piano,” week by week, post by post, we together will explore Calabria, the "toe" of Italy’s boot. It is an enchanting region known for its breath-taking coastline, rugged mountains, its myths and deep historical roots.

Le cipolle rosse ovunque, nei negozi e nei carretti, ed i peperoncini per tenere lontano il malocchio. Il profumo del mare, ma anche dello zolfo. Il sapore del famoso gelato, il tartufo, che mangiavo nella piazzetta di Pizzo.
