About Anna

My name is Anna and I am the founder of Italian, Anywhere. I love travelling, meeting different people and exchanging experiences as I believe it is a great way to grow.

I've been teaching Italian language and culture for about 30 years in Italy, Spain, Greece, Australia, USA and the UK. I taught Italian language and culture at the IIC (Italian Institute of Culture) of Melbourne, Australia. I taught Italian within the European Socrates Project in Santorini, Greece. I directed the Dept of Italian at Bard College, NY (USA) for which I designed and directed the 4 week Study Abroad Program in Taormina, Sicily for 6 years. I led Study Abroad Programs in Calabria for the last 7 years, for Sutton College (UK) and the Guildford Institute (UK).

Through my studies and my travels, I built my Italian identity and developed a passion for sharing my culture.

My artistic background in classical music and theatre helps me design multi-disciplinary classes. I love to inspire my students and lead them to really connect with Italian culture.
